The Kannada films with the locality names as titles are nothing new. Sometime back it was 'Kalasipalya' of Darshan, then producer Shilpa Srinivas held muhurut for 'City Market' that failed to take off later. Now we have one of the prominent areas 'Chamarajpet' entering the pages of Kannada film history.

In 'Chamrajpet' what happens to the guy who comes from Mandya with his mother is showcased after he falls in love with his 'Parivala' that is Nanditha of 'Jhinke Mari….fame from 'Nanda Nanditha'. Nanditha is a principled girl and she is living with her father in the film. The new actor Jagadish is living with his mother. After he falls in love with the Chamarajpet girl a lot of power he requires mentally and firstly he has to settle in life. He has tough challenges to make him approve for his love. Jagadish a resident of Chandra Layout knows only that the area Chamrajpet is constructed by Sir M Vishveswaraya. He has studied in Vishveswaraya junior college and completed degree in his life.

Soorya Kamal who is originally Raja Kamal a native of Andhra Pradesh has worked as assistant with the big Telugu films director Kodi Ramakrishna for a long time. The producers Bhagya, Lakshmipathi and Raghu are from the native Chittoor district making first attempt deviating from land business.

Anoop Selan is scoring music for five songs and one of the songs on Chamrajpet is written by sharp director and writer PN Sathyaa.
