Why Buddivantha delayed

 For this September 18th real star Upendra birthday (also birthday of Dr Vishnu and Shruthi) no special activity. Upendra's new film a remake of 'Dubai Seenu' by producer Shailendra Babu went on the floor two weeks prior to his birthday.
The much expected 'Buddivantha' is getting delayed as the serial order given by the censor board is not accommodating the film release. According to highly placed sources producer Mohan and S.V.Rajendra Singh Babu planned for a dharna in front of the censor board on last Saturday to immediately see the film 'Buddivantha' and give the censor certificate. They held discussion in MP and union minister Ambarish residence on what to do but nothing concrete came out.

claims that he had given the file of 'Buddivantha' 10 days ago to regional
censor office. But according to officials the Lab certificate was missing
and the file was not complete. When the Lab certificate was affixed then
only it gains importance. That certificate was given to the regional censor
board on last Friday and insisting that the film should be seen on Saturday
is not correct because there are seven films in the queue for censor to
see and issue certificate. Moreover last Saturday was second Saturday
for regional censor office – a closed holiday.
'Buddivantha' cannot surpass any rules because Upendra is the hero. Even for that matter the film in order to release for Uppi's birthday cannot be adjusted to see. 'Payana' producer Venkatesh who is second in the numbering system has allowed for seeing of 'Buddivantha' but censor chief is not ready for such dictation. He is going to take up one after 'Payana' not 'Buddivantha' in that place.
According to reliable sources the film 'Buddivantha' will be released later this month. |
