Yogish's Dhool movie launched
27th July 2009 - 8:00am

Dhool movie launch at Kanteerava Studio

After 'Ravana' and 'Punda', Yogish is all set to act in another film which is not only a remake, but also a remake of Dhanush film called 'Thiruvileyadal Aaarambham'. The Kannada version which was launched at the Kanteerava Studios is called as 'Dhool'. Current sensation Aindritha Ray plays female lead to Yogi.

M R Raghavendra son of reputed director M S Rajashekhar is directing the film under a new name called Dharani. The director says that the title has nothing to do with the contents of the film and there is no proper meaning for the title 'Dhool'. In spite of that, the title was kept because the team wanted something catchy and mass to attract the audience.

Dharani said he wanted to do a straight film, but producer Sunil who is basically from real estate compelled him to do a remake. 'I have been trying to direct for the past three years. Though three projects got finalised, the films weren't launched due to unknown reasons. Everybody here wants remakes to be safe. I don't have any other go than to direct as per the producer's wish. Even I don't want to direct a remake. But I have to show my talent. Once I get noticed, then I can make my type of films' said Dharani.

Yogi says the film is an out and out entertainer and the film is completely different from what he has done till now. He even has changed his hairstyle for the film. Aindritha Ray opined that the film is pacy with many twists and turns and she has got a meaty role in the film.

Dharani plans to finish off the film in two schedules. The shooting will be mainly held in Bangalore. The crew plans to go abroad for three songs. Prakash Rai is making an appearance after many years.
