'Karanji' the fountain of music
26th Sep 2008 - 1:30pm
N.M.Suresh
is not the one who is going to give up his attempts whether it is a loss
of profit from cinema production. He has an oscillating mind too. Some
time he says he is not in deficit and sometime he reverses his statement
and says he has not suffered losses from film making. He is fond of talking
and in the process he picks up such contradictory statements in his address.
47 days of 'Karanji' Kannada cinema has been done and
the Indo-Western – folk and rock style song was shot at a private factory
in Kananapura road. Dance director Harsha is doing the three songs and
the climax song is first of its kind in Kannada screen says Harsha. 20
days in Mysore and Karighatta the shooting was held and four sets will
be erected for the film directed by Sridhar a newcomer who has put in
10 years of effort on this subject. Fifty percent of the cost of the cinema
is used on shaping up good songs. Songs have never been a failure in my
films so far says Suresh.
Gauri
Karnik who made debut from Lucky Ali's 'Sur' keeping silent for two and
half years from cinema then bouncing back to do Hindi and international
film in her career is making her first presence in south Indian cinema
'Kaaranji'. She is quite happy with the shooting procedures and the people
over here in Kannada cinema.
Veera Samarth is scoring the music for his second film.
the earlier film of Samarth was 'Gandhi Smiles' that is all set for release
soon.
