Madesh ad with no photographs
27th Aug 2008 - 11:30am
When
so much of controversy is speaking about the film 'Maadesha' where the
need arises to display photographs in the newspaper advertisement is the
new thought of the controversial director Ravi Srivatsa. Except the title
nothing is readable to the common eyes.
On the Wednesday newspaper advertisements in a small
box the film title is given and rest of the space is occupied by the theatre
names. After some point of time the film 'Mungaru Male' started the new
trend in just giving the title of the film and rest for the theatres names.
Now in the beginning itself 'Maadesha' is coming out with such ads.
However Shivarajkumar starring 'Maadesha' has broken
the previous record of 'Bombaat'. Bombaat was released in 80 theatres
in Karnataka and on an average 320 shows of the film was made available.
Now 'Maadesha' is releasing in 93 centers showing 372 shows a day.
Why such huge system is maintained? Firstly to grab the
investment in the first two weeks is the calculation. But for all the
films the morning shows that decides the fate.
'Maadesha'
releasing after a censor battle on 29th of this month is produced by Goverdhana
Murthy in the banner LG Anupam Film city. GSV Seetharam is the cameraman
while melody king Mano Murthy has scored the music. Stunts are handled
by Thriller Manju. Shivarajakumar, Sonu Bhatia, Ravi Belegere, Ravi Kale,
Ramesh Pandit, Harish Rai, Padmaja Rao, Dattanna, Bullet Prakash, Muni,
Raghu, Kote Prabhakar and Jaggesh son Yathi is in the cast.
