Veteran SNB Murthy starts with Rani Ratnamala

Quasi historical and quasi social film ‘Rani Rathnamala’ by veteran cameraman SNB Murthy who is turning director from the Kannada version went on the floor in a grand style at Abhiman studio in Bangalore.

The dialogues for Kannada version are penned by K. Nadig Narayan and Ananthnaram HK of the famous ‘Antha’ novelist while the same work for English version of ‘Rani Rathnamala’ is written by veteran English journalist M.N.Chakravarthy.

The story dates back to the days of Rashtra Koota dynasty where Danthidurga King and Queen Rathnamala lived. This is a love story that has the palace interior decoration from RK Sundaram. The diamond ring offer to queen Rathnamala by king Dhanthidurga was shot in the 16 mm camera on Friday morning in an opulent style. Cameraman Murthy captured the maiden shot for his maiden directorial venture.

This is Indo American joint venture by Movie Cinema Productions Private Limited. Shwetha Chaudhary a resident of Uttar Pradesh a model took park in ramp shows is the heroine while software engineer Dattaraj is in the lead role of Dhanthidurga king.

There are four songs from music director Chandrasekhar.
