Dayal's Srihari movie launched

There has been a title change in the Murali starrer 'Harikathe'. The title has been now changed to 'Srihari' just before a day of the launch. The film which is being directed by Dayal Padmanabhan stars Pooja Gandhi and Radhika Gandhi together for the first time together. The film is jointly produced by Dayal, N Kumar and S A Chinnegowda.

This is a story of a brilliant yet innocent youth says Dayal. 'The film has some beautiful genuine emotions in it. Murali had doubts whether he could perform such a role or not. But Vijay Raghavendra urged him to take up this project. Even Pooja Gandhi agreed to do the role in spite of the role having negative shades to it. Radhika Gandhi plays a young married girl in the film. Her role was too strong and I wanted Radhika to get ready for it. I gave her the bound script and said she has to learn all those and submit before me. She was ready in 10 days and I am happy about her dedication' says Dayal.

Though Dayal didn't divulge many details about the film, 'when we talk with somebody casually, our minds will be traveling continuously. What if we add reality to it? That's the inspiration to the film and I have written the story based on it' divulged Dayal.

Dayal says he wanted to produce the film himself, but producer-distributor N Kumar also became a partner. 'I went to him to discuss some marketing strategies, but Kumar wanted to be a part of the project once he heard the script. Murali's father Chinnegowda also joined us and we will be co-producing the film' said Dayal.

Dayal is introducing a new cameraman called Rakesh. He is reintroducing Sameer Kulkarni as a music director. The film will be shot in and around Bangalore.
