Threesome is toosome! Three movies this week
17th Oct 2008 - 10:00am
While the Kannada films exception to Budhivantha and Vamshi
are crashing with disastrous results in the box office once again this
week three films are lined up.
The hit and run of Kannada films fate is very pathetic
but the queue of films is forcing the KFCC to give final nod for the films
that are lined up. The last week 10th October films such as Chickmagalura
Chickamallige, Baa Bega Chandama (it has come out very fast from theatres
befitting to the title) and Mandakini are very poor in collection and
the over all loss from these three films would be not less than 6 crores
of rupees. Another third grade movie was also released it is reliably
learnt in the last week.
Now the scene is similar for this week – 17th October
2008 – three films – Payana starring 'Silly Lalli' small screen hero Dr.Surgery
– Ravishanker wants to have a Barjari opening and collection. He is paired
for the first time in big screen with Ramanithu Chaudhary. Anther small
screen director Kiran Govi is the director of this film 'Payana' a dream
of common man explained via journey.
The long standing film 'Premigaagi Naa' that boast of
good music the 100th film of music director Rajesh Ramanath starring Shanker
of Mysore in the lead directed by Snehapriya is releasing this week.
The third film to enter the silver screen this week
is the much expected 'Sangathi' starring producer Byre Gowda son Chetan
who is making debut with two heroines Aishwarya Ajith and Pratiksha Shetty.
Srinivasa Raju has written the story, screenplay and directed this film
'Sangathi' that has some lovely tunes from Hamsalekha.
