'Ullasa' take off on grand note
14th Oct 2008 - 10:00am
The opulence was seen not only in the Embassy Business
Park surroundings but also the way in which the Nagaraj Combines arranged
the muhurut was looking very luxurious on Monday morning. The huge grass
lawns was made use off with three big pandals erected to treat the guests
on the muhurth of 'Ullasa' Kannada film by 'Praana' director Prakash starring
ravishing Ramya and chilling youth Vijay Kumar the national bike champion.
The speedster in addressing the media director Prakash
thanked everyone for keeping confidence in me and said the stunts would
be the major attraction from Vijay Kumar in this film. With Ramya doing
the heroine role the places like Finland, Australia shooting is taking
place for talkie and song portions said Prakash thanking Ramya for giving
nod after a long hiatus to his film. the shooting will be held in Bangalore
and Mysore and real bike race would be captured featuring the hero of
the film.
The first condition actress Ramya put before the producers
and director of 'Ullasa' is that she is not going sit behind the bike
with hero Vijay Kumar. Ramya is scared with speedy bikes and in case she
is wanted behind the bike of the hero they have to look for the dupe of
her portion. However Ramya liked the enthusiasm of the whole team but
what the media did not like from her address was the support she gave
for music director Emil. Not hearing to lot of Ramya films songs that
are richly popular Emil saying he is a fan of Ramya from 'Polladhavan'
irritated the media but Ramya said there is nothing wrong in Emil telling
like that. A Kannada film music director should know about the Kannada
film music or at least of the popular heroine like Ramya film songs. This
is what Ramya was not able to understand.
The permission to do the dangerous stunts with train
in the subject has not yet reached the team of 'Ullasa'. Sitting very
comfortable as a bike racer in his profession Vijay Kumar making debut
feels that he needs the cooperation of the entire team to complete the
danger stunts like bogey to bogey jump, building to building jump and
crossing over the train at a railway gate.
The transport minister Ashok switched on the camera while
hat trick hero Shivarajakumar sounded the clap board.
