Vamshi replaces Tajmahal at Santosh

The debutant Kannada film of director R.Chandru 'Taj Mahal' has earned Rs.3 crores net for the producer Shivashanker Reddy Jigale in 50 days. The collection of the film 'Taj Mahal' is also pretty good after 50 days all over Karnataka. But the fuss is related to the Santosh theatre. In order to accommodate 'Vamshi' starring Puneeth Rajakumar and Nikita of Dr.Rajakumar family banner the good earning Kannada film 'Taj Mahal' is removed from 2nd of October. Vamshi comes in Santosh while Taj Mahal goes to Kailash theatre.

According to the calculations of the distributor of the film KCN Kumar the film 'Taj Mahal' has earned for last three days Rs.2 lakh and 15000. For the remaining four days we can just imagine.

But now the guidelines are different says Kumar. For three days collection of Rs.2.15 lakhs we calculate the 60 percent. The collected amount of 'Taj Mahal' in three days would not meet 60 percent. It is short of Rs.40000. But why it cannot be calculated for seven days? Kumar has no answer. Even if the average collection for the rest of the four days is calculated it would be more than the theatre rent – that is more than Rs.4 lakhs.

Who is going to bell the cat? The similar situation had come to 'Kallarali Hoovagi' and in that case also it was Rajakumar family banner cinema. Director T.S.Nagabharana expressed his anguish being a top personality. It went unheard!
