Naveen Krishna and Pavani in DhimakuNaveen Krishna's make or break film has come at the right time in a right way. The redeeming feature of this film is the screenplay, dialogue, Naveen Krishna, Asha Saini performance, cinematography and tolerable music. This is a carefully thought out cinema. Every scene is absorbing. The style and stature of Naveen Krishna is a new thing to note for the present genre.

Balamuralikrishna has not completed engineering but engineer things in right perspective. He is the son of a teacher and has affection of father who is like friend to him. Balamuralikrishna has fallen in love with Pavani but how he falls in love with her is interesting to know on the screen. But this is not wanted for Pavani's mother Asha Saini. She is on the look out of high society boy to her daughter. She has studied the way her daughter has fallen in love and makes her daughter to believe that Balamuralikrishna is after the affluence not after pure affection. This irks Pavani and she decline to speak to Balamuralikrishna. The clash is now between Balamuralikrishna and Pavani's mother. Who wins in the contest and how Balamuralikrishna exposes everything and wins the heart is all about rest of the cinema.

Naveen Krishna's best performance, wonderful looks and style is new to the Kannada cinema industry. The dialogue delivery especially at Jinke Mari Park where he utters in a speed the names of literary giants and in another occasion where he says three letter words and fives a fitting reply to Asha Saini are attractive. Pavani has been just OK, Asha Saini being a heroine today taking up a mother role would explain her urge for roles of substance rather than anything else. Rangayana Raghu is best once again. Sudha Belawadi is better mother cum teacher. The arrival of Jaggesh, Komal and Bullet Prakash evokes laughter.

Maribeda Hettavarannu…. Nee Huchcha annu…nee Dhadda annu bejaragalla and a duet are very well scored by music director Arjun. Vinod Bharathi has shown his skill in camera work and his lighting is good for camera work.

This is worth a 'dekko'!
