Sangaathi "Aimless" - movie review

A director has to be checked thoroughly of his intelligence and strength in handling the film. A producer has got every right to do like that instead of facing the disaster results from such half baked director like Srinivasaraju.

Director Srinivasaraju takes the blame for the poor handling of this film. He is not a well informed personality nor has said anything brilliant from this film. He has wasted the young chap enthusiastic Chetan and his father's money of Rs.2 crores plus consumed more than one year to release the film. A director like Srinivasaraju should be thoroughly screened.

What are the plus points of 'Sangathi'? Three chilling fights and two lovely tunes! For this the producer had to invest Rs.2.5 crores. That is where the senseless director strikes our mind.

Prem is clean bowled for the beauty of Aishwarya. When he is beaten he sees the beauty and again when her engagement is taking place. Still he wants to love her and he believes in hope. He throws a challenge to Aishwarya to come and stay in his house for 10 days and you will definitely falls in love with me. She accepts the challenge but nothing of that sort happens. But friends of Prem describe the pure love of Prem to Aishwarya. Once again beaten badly left on the roads on the marriage day of Aishwarya she runs away and accepts Prem as 'Sangathi'.

A major alteration is needed for youngster Chetan. He has the good height and complexion. He has thousands of kilometers to travel to give a decent acting. Pratiksha Shetty is precise Aishwarya is not rich in beauty like her name. Vinayaprakash strikes as mother. Girish Karnad and Srinath do not add hope to the film.

Two lovely tunes from Hamsalekha – Dathu cinematography is average. The 'Gathi' of this 'Sangathi' in box office will be 'Durgathi'.
